Born
on September 18th in Athens, Klairy Korélis is
of Greek nationality, but lives in France since 1979.
After
having obtained her baccallauréat in 1974, she
follows the drawing cursus at the
Vlochopoulos Academy of Athens, in order to prepare the
competitive entrance examination for the Ecole des Beaux
Arts. From 1975 to 1977 she studies graphic arts at the
Centre for Graphic Arts in Athens. In this framework she
worked for the Opera of Athens, and she obtained her diploma
for scenography. (Excellent grade)

In
1979, Klairy comes to live in Paris, in order to pursue
her studies at the Beaux-Arts. There she obtains the National
Diploma for 'Plastic Arts'.

In
1984 she receives the ' Prix de la Peinture' from the
city of Antibes, and prepares there her first personal
exhibition, at the Picasso Musum of Antibes.
Since
then, she has presented her work in a number of individual
and group exhibitions , she also continues to teach plastic
arts to children and adults.
